Pulp Revascularization: Future Therapy of Tooth with Open Apex
نویسندگان
چکیده
Introduction: The endodontic management of necrotic permanent immature teeth is a challenge for the practitioner. These are treated by apexification. However, because complications associated with this treatment, researchers have developed other therapies. Currently, new technique called pulp revascularization has emerged. This allows continuation root completion thanks to healthy tissue newly formed at intra canal level. Material and method: A literature search articles dealing was conducted using two types strategy, keywords on databases then manual “bottom-up” references previously identified articles. Results: 112 were based inclusion exclusion criteria. Discussion: work showed that therapy aims restart development an tooth. It principle engineering uses differentiation potential stem cells. Conclusion: values as it development, sidewall thickening, apical closure decrease in periapical lesion ensures good sealing. Clinical radiographic success rates appear be encouraging, except factors influencing treatment must taken into consideration.

Revascularization procedure in an open apex tooth with external root resorption: A case report
External inflammatory root resorption (EIR) represents a challenge in endodontic practice. EIR commonly occurs after dental trauma that results in periodontal ligament injury, pulp necrosis and subsequent infection. Treatment of EIR is based on disinfecting the root canal system through chemomechanical procedures and then filling it with calcium hydroxide or triple antibiotic paste. Dental tra...

متن کاملRevascularization Treatment of Immature Permanent Tooth with Necrotic Pulp: A Case Report
Introduction: Revascularization is the newest treatment proposed for an immature permanent tooth with necrotic pulp. Revascularization is defined as a treatment process with a biological base which is aimed at replacing the lost structures and the continued development of roots. Case presentation: Patient was an eight-year-old child with the history of trauma to the maxillary anterior region. ...

This report presents the case of a 10-year-old patient with a nonvital young permanent tooth which was managed by pulp revascularization. Following disinfection of the canal by irrigation with NaOCl and use of a triantibiotic paste, a scaffold was created by inducing the formation of a blood clot within the canal. At the subsequent follow-up visits, the patient was asymptomatic, with normal res...
متن کاملPulp revascularization after repositioning of impacted incisor with a dilacerated root and a detached apex.
Severely impacted and dilacerated incisors are rarely considered for surgical exposure because they may not respond favorably to orthodontic extrusion. These incisors are often extracted, resulting in the need for tooth replacement; however, prosthetic solutions are limited in growing patients. Transalveolar autotransplantation of an impacted incisor may be the only method to preserve the natur...
